Biography
Born in Novosibirsk, Russia. MChem from Novosibirsk State University with a dissertation on membrane gas separation. PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Bath, in the area of catalytic multiphase membrane reactors. Since 2000 was Lecturer-SL-Reader at University of Bath. In 2009 was appointed as Professor of Engineering @ University of Warwick and in 2013 was elected into the present position of Professor of Sustainable Reaction Engineering.
Research interests
Process intensification for cleaner manufacture of materials and molecules; Digitalisation of chemical manufacturing and R&D process; ML/AI in chemical process development; Data Science methods for design of efficient chemical routes.
