The successful candidate will act as a Research Associate for the H2020 project Emotional Cities.

The Key Objectives of the role include: - Deploy a methodology for physical and mental urban health analysis: in order to - mapping of Physical environment - urban form/patterns and urban health and well-being: - identify the Socioeconomic environment - urban determinants for/in urban health and well-being: - Set up and analysis of a population cohort upon health indicators, ageing and gender and mapping of its associated spatial patterns/process for health and well-being: - Mapping of emotions triggered by the built environment: - contribute to the development of a toolbox of spatial analysis and mapping for health and well-being: key description of work

Key responsibilities Work with the Cam team of the project and contribute to the development of:
- Deploy a methodology for physical and mental urban health analysis - First snapshot mapping of the current status across all cases, and static GIS overlaps with the identification of the quantitative and qualitative data metrics of urban health and subsequent spatial analysis: 1. The attributes of the physical environment and 2. Setting up a population cohort upon health indicators, ageing and gender - Physical and socio-economic characterization of cities based on emotions triggered by the built Environment - Customizing spatial health and well-being actions for cities and across specific populations - Set up a spatial analysis toolbox for health and well-being for cities - Contribute to the data collections, analysis and mapping of the project - Participate in the project meetings, workshops and multiple outreach activities - Contribute to the development of deliverables, reports and papers
