As part of a government sponsored, international and multi-year research project on measuring, monitoring, and countering the global spread of misinformation, the Cambridge Social Decision-Making Lab in the Department of Psychology at the University of Cambridge is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate. The successful candidate will work on understanding, measuring, and developing interventions to counter misinformation (broadly defined) around the world, with a particular focus on vaccine hesitancy.
The Lab consists of a diverse team of interdisciplinary researchers united by a common interest in basic and translational behavioural science research. There will be opportunities for collaboration with leading national and international researchers, as well as government agencies (both within and outside of the UK), social media companies, NGOs and other stakeholders.
The post-holder will be well supported in their professional development, with opportunities for developing skills and knowledge. The Investigators will work with the post-holder to develop a bespoke training and development plan that will focus on the skills and experience they need to make the most of the opportunities afforded by the project and to progress their career. The post-holder will also be encouraged and supported to apply for funding relevant to their future career development.
