The Centre for Human-Inspired Artificial Intelligence (CHIA) is a new centre within the University of Cambridge and is part of the Institute for Technology and Humanity. Its founding principle is to advance Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the benefit humanity. The Centre brings together an interdisciplinary community of researchers and students to investigate the innovative ways in which human and machine intelligence can be combined to yield AI that can support social and global progress. Designed to deliver both academic and real-world impact, the Centre seeks to partner with academic, industrial, and other organizations that share interest in Human-Inspired AI.

This exciting new position will be at the heart of CHIA's activities. The Programme Manager will work directly with the Centre leadership to develop and manage CHIA's interdisciplinary research programmes, educational offerings and partnerships. This includes preparation and coordination of funding proposals that can support CHIA's programmes. Through effective community-building, you will maintain and develop collaborations across the University as well as external partnerships across academia, industry, NGOs and the civil society. You will also lead the development and implementation of effective communications strategy that will inspire a diverse range of stakeholders to engage with CHIA.
