Closing date:
Tuesday, 14 September 2021

The ESRC Policy Fellowships have been launched and include 25 fellowship opportunities across 10 host organisations including central and devolved governments. Please do have a look through the opportunities and share as appropriate with your networks. The Public Policy and Engagement team is managing the opportunity and can be contacted at ESRCPolicyImpact@esrc.ukri.org

This first call of a new ESRC policy fellowship scheme offers an exciting opportunity to early and mid-career researcher to develop their career and enhance their understanding of applying research in government contexts. Fellowships are available to social science researchers and, for fellowship opportunities with the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, also to arts and humanities researchers.

Fellowships cover a variety of topics and policy areas. These include COVID recovery, net zero, inequalities and levelling up, crime and justice, health and social care, national security and foreign policy. Some also have a specific methodological or disciplinary focus, such as evaluation and experimentation, data analysis, or behavioural science.
