Applications are invited for the post of Research Data Manager at the University of Cambridge. This role is based within the Cambridge University Libraries' Office of Scholarly Communication and leads the development of data management services in line with the needs of researchers across the university.

Cambridge University Libraries work in collaboration across the University to provide services and training to support research excellence and innovation. This includes leadership to help embed the principles and practice of Open Research, and support advances in digital and data-driven scholarship.
The Research Data Manager will manage a sustainable Research Data Management Facility and lead projects in support of open research at the University of Cambridge. This involves raising awareness of good data management practices amongst the academic community, developing and implementing projects and services as essential parts of the University's research environment, and ensuring University's national and international leadership in good data management practice.
To perform this role effectively you will require experience in administration or project management together with knowledge of issues relating to open access to research data. You will also have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and organisational skills. We are looking for a proactive individual to join our team.
