Restricted Call: Innovate UK Commercialising Quantum Technologies

Closing date:
Tuesday, 2 March 2021

Innovate UK, through the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, invites applications for Round 1 of its Commercialising Quantum Technologies Germinator Projects call. These grants provide up to £50,000 to stimulate the commercialisation of quantum technologies in the UK through the development of early-stage quantum technology opportunities.

Each proposal must identify a promising application of quantum technologies, a project to demonstrate the potential and a route to market.

Academic institutions cannot work alone but they can lead a project if they have a UK registered business as a partner. Projects must start by 1 October 2021 and end by 31 March 2022, and can only last six months.

Internal deadline 2 March 2021
