Restricted call: Royal Society Wolfson Fellowship
The Royal Society has pre-announced the Wolfson Fellowship, which can be used to recruit senior researchers of any nationality, currently based overseas.
The scheme covers all areas of the life and physical sciences, including engineering, but excluding clinical medicine. Submissions from clinically qualified scientists may be considered if their research is within the Royal Society’s remit (please see https://royalsociety.org/grants-schemes-awards/grants/subject-groups).
Candidates can apply for up to £300,000 and funding can be used flexibly as part of a start-up package to support their research programme and team. Institutions must make a commitment concerning what other support (direct or in-kind) they will provide. Further information on the call requirements can be found in the Royal Society Wolfson Fellowship scheme notes.
