Aviva funded PhD

October 2019 saw the beginning of five Aviva-funded PhD projects in the Mathematics, Computer Science and Psychology departments as well as at the Institute of Manufacturing:

Jan Stantzuk joined the Mathematics of Information PhD programme with a project on "Trustworthy machine learning for ovarian cancer imagining"

Michelle Lee studied at the Computer Lab at Cambridge and her research was titled "Context and fairness in machine learning"

Edward Kosasih studied Operations Research and Machine Learning at the Institute for Manufacturing
