Applied Process Mining for Management

Course introduction

Process Mining has revolutionized the way we analyze and optimize processes in business. Performance Problems traditionally caused long-winded manual investigations into the underlying business process looking at interview data, observations or deciphering process documentations. All of these traditional methods are time and cost consuming and only provide fractional insights. Process Mining uses a data-science approach to process science making analyses more objective, detailed and faster to obtain.

This course is designed to provide an applied introduction to Process Mining, its industry use cases and the theoretical concepts behind it. The course furthermore delivers advanced software skills in the Celonis Execution Management Software.

Programme

The course is structured into a 5-week outline comprising online teaching, self-study consisting of software training and academic training, group work and discussion mentored by an academic supervisor. A kick-off and final event together with Celonis will round off the course. The three live online sessions will be recorded for participants with existing commitments who are unable to attend.
