Cambridge Networks Day 2015

Friday, 8 May 2015, 9.00am to 6.00pm
Location: Sainsbury Laboratory

CNN is pleased to announce the Cambridge Networks Day 2015 (CNDay 2015) - a one-day conference bringing together researchers with an interest in complex networks from various departments and institutes in Cambridge and beyond.

CNDay 2015 will take place on Friday the 8th of May 2015 at the Sainsbury Laboratory. The event will be free of charge. However, the number of participants is capped at 150 and registration is required.

To register please click here.

Our speakers' interests (and affiliations) span a wide range of fields, from biology to physics, sociology and computer science, so we hope to see an equally broad audience attend. The list of confirmed speakers for CNDay 2015 includes:

Prof Uri Alon (Department of Molecular Cell Biology, Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel)

Prof Peter Csermely (Department of Medical Chemistry, Semmelweis University, Hungary)

Prof James Bagrow (Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of Vermont and Vermont Complex Systems Center, USA)

Prof Petter Holme (Department of Physics, Umeå University, Sweden)

Dr Francesco Iorio (European Bioinformatics Institute & Sanger Institute, Cambridge, UK)

Dr Daniele Quercia (Yahoo Labs, Barcelona, Spain)

We are also delighted to announce that Uri Alon will be giving two lectures - one keynote at the start of the day and another talk, in the afternoon, on the process of scientific discovery.

We are also now accepting abstract submissions for the poster presentations that will take place over the lunch break and for short (1 minute, 1 slide) oral presentations of these posters just before lunch. Please send your abstracts to cnninfo@hermes.cam.ac.uk by the 6th April.
