Closing date:
Friday, 1 March 2024

Department of Surgery

There is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative EPSRC (Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council) "Real-time Digital Twin Assisted Surgery" project. This Partnership will create a ground-breaking real-time digital twin assisted surgery (DTAS) technology to digitally transform future surgery, particularly for cancer. This two-year clinical research fellowship is aimed at a clinical trainee in urological surgery, providing an opportunity to study in a high calibre research environment within renal cancer surgery. The role will focus on developing, evaluating and validating the digital tools developed with this project.
