Department of Haematology

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and ambitious bioinformatician to join the group of Professor Brian Huntly in the Department of Haematology and Wellcome-MRC Cambridge Stem Cell Institute (https://www.stemcells.cam.ac.uk/people/pi/huntly). Our group studies the mechanisms of transcriptional and epigenetic dysregulation that drive leukaemia and lymphoma, and how these programmes are subverted from their normal role in haematopoietic stem cells and their progeny. We combine functional and genomic experiments in experimental model systems and patient samples to identify pathological mechanisms, therapeutic targets and novel therapies.
