Applications are invited for the position of Bioinformatics Research Associate to join the group of Dr Dan Hodson within The Wellcome Trust ¿ Medical Research Council Cambridge Stem Cell Institute and Department of Haematology on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

The successful candidate will join an exciting research team that seeks to understand the molecular pathogenesis and develop novel treatment approaches to combat malignant lymphoma. The post holder will become a valued team member and will work side by side with both wet lab researchers and bioinformaticians on a joint experimental/computational project. They will provide bioinformatic data processing and statistical analysis for variety of next generation sequencing techniques that profile genetic, epigenetic and transcriptional changes in both experimental models and human patients. Appropriate support and training will be provided, including the training in the use of in-house pipelines. There will be opportunities for new computational method development, in for example the quantification of ultra-low fraction plasma circulating tumour DNA to assess response to therapy in patients with lymphoma.
