Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute

Cancer Research Uk, Cambridge Institute is recruiting a Research Associate / Senior Research Associate (Computational Biologist) to join the Systems Cancer Pathology group at the CRUK Cambridge Institute, led by Dr Raza Ali. We are a leading group in high dimensional single cell spatial proteomics (imaging mass cytometry) in cancer (1,2). The role involves working as part of a diverse team including pathologists, oncologists, cancer biologists and computational biologists.

The candidate should hold a PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g. computer science, computational biology), but candidates with a PhD in immunology/cancer biology with strong computational expertise are also encouraged to apply. You should be highly motivated with an interest in high dimensional imaging data and developing new quantitative methods to assess the spatial dynamics of cancer cells and the tumour microenvironment in patient samples. You will work with Dr Raza Ali, group leader and academic pathologist. Ours is a young team, combining wet and dry lab.
